**Level A - Senior Development Engineer**
- Leads innovation and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects as part of the Biomedical Textile Product Development team
- Accountable for project scope, risk management, detailed project planning, resource coordination, and on-time delivery of project milestones and product launches.
- Leads pilot builds, engineering runs, and critical implementation activities to ensure robust process capability and operational readiness.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, optimize cycle time, eliminate waste, and increase overall product profitability (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, etc.).
- Applies structured, data-driven problem-solving methodologies (RCA, FMEA, DMAIC, 8D) to identify root causes and deliver measurable, sustainable operational improvements.
- Develops and implements advanced manufacturing technologies, methods, and process solutions to strengthen safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Leads validation of processes, equipment, and significant changes, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Develops and delivers training on technical process documentation to ensure standardization, adherence, and knowledge transfer.




- Ensures effective communication and cross-functional coordination with the Integral Biomedical Textile team and local departments (Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to align priorities and execution.Translates complex technical data into structured reports and presentations, effectively communicating results, risks, and strategic recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
**Minimum Education Requirements**
- Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering or similar (master’s preferred)
- 5+ years in medical manufacturing (ISO 13485 and FDA 820) with technical leadership
- Project Management and New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
- Strong knowledge of statistics, Lean/Six Sigma, PFMEA, validations (IQ/OQ/PQ)
**Knowledge, Skills and Competencies**
- Advanced English proficiency, reading, writing and verbal.
- Leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders, coordinate teams and drive sustainable operational improvements.
- Strong project management skills, including Stage-Gate methodology, risk management, and cross-functional coordination for product launches and process improvements.
- Expertise in manufacturing processes, engineering principles, and medical device product development (R&D;/NPI)
- Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement expertise (Kaizen, 5S, SMED) with structured problem-solving (RCA, FMEA, DMAIC, 8D) and data-driven decision-making.
- Occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
