**About Delinea**:
Join our passionate, general team at Delinea and help us make the world a safer and more secure place. Our success is driven by world-class product leadership, outstanding engineers, and strategic investment from TPG. We value diversity, innovation, and a culture of respect and fairness. If you're ready to push boundaries and challenge the status quo in security, we want to hear from you.
We are seeking a transformational Director of Quality Assurance to lead a fundamental shift in how quality is delivered across Delinea’s identity security platform. This is not a traditional QA leadership role. We are building toward a future where AI executes the vast majority of quality assurance work from acceptance criteria generation and test case creation to automated execution, root cause analysis, and defect triage, while QA engineers evolve into quality architects who design, orchestrate, and govern AI-driven quality systems.
Delinea is building a unified identity authorization platform that spans privileged access management, secrets management, authorization, and cloud security. The complexity of our product portfolio, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid deployments across hundreds of target system types, demands a quality approach that scales beyond what traditional manual testing can deliver. We have established a clear vision for AI-driven quality and need a leader who can build and execute the roadmap to get us there.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Engineering and works closely with product
management, development leadership, and security teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
**This is a hybrid role that is based in Mexico City, Mexico and reports to the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Leadership**:

Lead the AI quality roadmap, progressively integrating AI across all QA functions. Evaluate and implement AI tools for test generation, self-healing suites, and intelligent defect triage. Define AI-specific KPIs to track the shift from manual to AI-driven quality practices.
- **Evolve the organization through leadership**: Lead the transition of QA engineers from manual testers to quality architects who orchestrate AI-driven systems. **Upskill**the QA org through targeted training in prompt engineering, AI orchestration, and meta-QA practices. **Drive innovation**by fostering an experimental culture focused on piloting AI capabilities, measuring results, and rapid iteration.
- **Quality Strategy & Execution**: Own and deliver measurable improvements in customer-reported defects and critical severity rates. Implement AI prioritization to focus testing on high-impact code changes and defect-prone areas. Transition from current manual burdens to near-zero through AI-generated automation and intelligent execution. **Executive visibility** with built-in real-time dashboards providing quality health insights for executive and operational teams.
- **Cross**-**functiona**l** impact**: Embed quality practices early in the SDLC, shifting the focus from "test-and-find" to "prevent-and-detect." Align AI-generated acceptance criteria and test coverage with customer use cases and security needs.

Partner with security teams to ensure AI-driven testing meets the high-security standards of PAM products.
**Required Qualifications**
- 10+ years in QA with 5+ years leading teams of 20+ engineers.

- Hands-on experience with AI/ML testing tools; ability to critically evaluate and implement emerging AI technology.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps/Agile methodologies.
- Experience testing complex, security-sensitive products across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
- Ability to define and drive KPIs that create accountability and measurable outcomes.
- **Strong leadership**skills to navigate teams through significant organizational shifts and build cross-functional buy-in.
- BS in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
**Preferred Qualifications**

**Why work at Delinea?**
- We're passionate problem-solvers helping the world's largest organizations protect what matters most: their human and machine identities.
- We invest in people who are smart, self-motivated, and collaborative.
- What we offer in return is meaningful work, a culture of innovation and great career progression.
