To assure the effectiveness and profitability of a cable products life cycle from inception to end‑of‑life, including the initial Quote Phase, NPI activities, flawless production launch, cost reductions, and manufacturing optimization. To actively participate in product development and design, providing support to the NPD teams and manufacturing facility as needed. To assure delivery, cost and performance through planning and developing appropriate prevention and detection controls for new products, product changes, and product transfers supporting plant metrics.

Our Team
Provide support to BDMs, PDEs, sales representatives and customers regarding any special product requirements from inception until end of life; support the NPD team on new programs that involve Nogales as a manufacturing plant; support and participate in product transfer to Nogales; support and participate in product and process changes. This position can stop processes, machines and shipments that represent risk in the quality of our products.

What You Will Do

Engage with forward‑facing cable product BDMs on new opportunities to determine project validity, alignment to plant capabilities, and acceptance to move to the quoting phase.

Engage with PDE, sourcing and manufacturing plant representatives in submission of a project costing proposal to the BDM team.

Work with the manufacturing plant representatives in developing a product‑specific launch plan (including resources, timelines, deliverables, and milestones) to achieve a flawless product launch.

Work with the NPI and AQP engineers to identify responsible contributors and monitor the assigned functions to ensure a flawless NPI launch and smooth integration into the plant’s manufacturing process.

Meet with PDMs and customers (when applicable) during the product launch process to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and necessary information for a flawless launch.

Become the single point of contact for PDM, GSM, SEs and customers for PSBU cables on NPD status, expedites,



escalations, manufacturing questions and any other pre‑ and post‑launch inquiries.

Support the development team in finding root cause and developing corrective action for new product quality issues and in supporting systemic improvements of NPI processes to avoid quality rejections.

Identify, participate, and incentivize cost‑reduction efforts to increase LGM and make MOH, labor, sourcing and overall capabilities as cost‑effective as possible.

Use interpersonal skills to reach consensus with team members when conflicts arise, maintain team cohesiveness through difficult decisions, and solicit help from other department resources to resolve issues.

Initiate and participate in “Lessons Learned” exercises to determine and implement continuous improvement activities.

Identify and participate in the introduction of new capabilities and improvement of active capabilities for cable‑assembly products in the plant.

Lead and participate in phase‑exit reviews for the PDP process whenever applicable.

Initiate and participate in GCA and CAPEX requirements for any product launch or capability development.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

Five years’ experience in product management in a related field.

Advanced English proficiency.

Experience in program or project management/engineering and in new product introduction.

Excellent team‑building and interpersonal skills with experience in a team‑oriented environment.

Knowledge of cable‑assembly technical and testing requirements and IPC‑620/A manufacturing standards.

Strong problem‑solving skills and New Product Introduction Process knowledge.

Willingness to travel when necessary (American visa required).

What Will Put You Ahead

IATF 16949, ISO AS9100 or ISO 13485 internal auditing training.

Knowledge of automotive, commercial, and medical industry specifications (AIAG, ISO, IATF).

Microsoft Project / Project Administration software proficiency.
