**Description**
**What We’re Looking For**:
In this role, we seek an established professional with enough prior work experience in fullstack software development to achieve full productivity within 1.5 months from onboarding. This engineer should be passionate, creative, motivated, and knowledgeable with amazing communication skills to help drive conversations with Meltwater Product and Engineering teams while actively listening to their needs.
**What You'll Do**:
As a Fullstack Engineer, you will work on both frontend and backend components to meet the functional, scalability, and user experience requirements of our products. We offer total ownership of your team's products, and your day-to-day will be filled with opportunities to learn new technologies and grow as an engineer.- Strong hands-on experience in architectural design, problem-solving, and troubleshooting for both frontend and backend systems.- Design and implementation of scalable backend systems and responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces.- Be accountable for all aspects of your work, from research and analysis to testing, deployment in production, and on-call rotation.- Develop analytics features with high-quality design and code for both client-side and server-side logic.- Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration.- Write code that your peers praise for its elegance, readability, and maintainability across the stack.- Participate in all aspects of the software development process, including UI/UX design, API development, and database management.- Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
**What You'll Bring**:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a fullstack or combined frontend and backend software engineering role.- Strong experience with NodeJS,



TypeScript, React, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks like React for building responsive and accessible user interfaces.- Experience with AWS for cloud-based deployments.- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, RDS, Redis).- Ability to work autonomously, taking initiative and managing tasks independently with mínimal supervision.- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to frequent iterations and pivots while maintaining high productivity.- Commitment to maintaining high standards in testing and quality assurance, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.- Bring energy and passion to your work, be versatile and collaborative in style, empathetic in nature, confident in content, and focused on outcomes at all levels in the organization.**Preferred Skills and Experience**:
- Strong hands-on experience in Node.js backend development and React frontend development.- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway).- Strong problem-solving, coding,



and debugging skills across the full stack.- Experience with Kubernetes is an advantage.- Experience with Agile software development and working within defined project management methodologies and timelines.- Experience with 3rd party API development and integration.- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma or Sketch is a plus.- Familiarity with AI coding agents (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to enhance development productivity.
