To support our rapid growth in Mexico, ASC Global is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Accounting Assistant**. This role is critical to maintaining the financial health of our regional operations, ensuring that our high-volume sales transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with the Sales Director and the integral finance team.**What You’ll Be Doing**
- **Ledger Management**: Maintain accurate daily records of accounts payable and receivable using **QuickBooks**.
- **Invoicing & Billing**: Generate and process invoices for international sales transactions, ensuring compliance with tax requirements.
- **Reconciliations**: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure all financial data matches internal records.
- **Expense Tracking**: Monitor operational expenses and manage vendor payments within the independent distribution framework.
- **Financial Reporting**: Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports for local leadership and global headquarters.
- **Sales Support**:
Interface with the sales team to verify customer credit limits and payment statuses to facilitate deal closures.
**What We’re Looking For**
- **Software Proficiency**: Advanced, hands-on experience with **QuickBooks** is mandatory.
- **Technical Background**: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **Experience**: At least 2 years in accounting roles, preferably within trading, distribution, or companies with international operations.
- **Language Skills**: Intermediate English (capable of understanding financial terms and communicating with global teams).
- **Attention to Detail**: High level of precision in data entry and a commitment to meeting financial deadlines.
