Position Summary:
This role is responsible for the design, advancement, and implementation of commercial integration initiatives for automated bio-devices for the general poultry, livestock, and aquaculture industries. The role will work closely with a cross functional team comprised of design, automation, controls, quality, program managers, supply chain, IT, and production to transition new products from prototype to production, installation, and sustained in-the-field operations. This vacancy is to be filled with a highly creative, seasoned, hands-on manager, who will lead design teams to deliver engineered-to-order automated vaccination and poultry sex identification systems in Mexico. Responsibilities range from initial characterization of customer operations, through the design of the installation and workflow, negotiation of customer acceptance of the design, and execution of site acceptance testing. This position currently reports to the Senior Director of Operations.
Key Job Responsibilities:




- Provide strong technical knowledge and leadership to mechanical and electrical designers to deliver engineered-to-order system-level automation solutions.
- Interact with sales/marketing and customers to identify requirements to integrate automated vaccination and poultry sex identification systems into existing automation systems.
- Deliver system level installation design packages that will include 2D & 3D layout drawings, electrical one-line schematics, and other documents accurately and on-time.
- Provide on-site, hands-on leadership for installation events and pre-installation assessment visits at customer facilities (poultry hatcheries). Includes Weekends.
- Provide project management for custom engineering and installation projects including managing schedule, budget, TARGAN engineering/manufacturing efforts, customer coordination, and third-party contractor coordination.
