Job Description Summary
The Senior Aero Services ITR Engineer serves as the primary engineering focal point and ITO (Inquiry to Order) leader for the Latin America (LATAM) region, while simultaneously acting as a Global Quality Lead for the ITR organization. This role leads the development and execution of bid strategy, equipment offerings, and high-complexity technical proposals for conversion, modification, and upgrades (CM&U;) to GE Vernova’s aeroderivative installed fleet. While primarily focused on driving growth within LATAM, the role maintains the agility to pivot technical oversight to other regions as global business needs require.

Roles and Responsibilities
Regional Leadership & General Agility
- Regional Focal Point: Act as the recognized senior technical expert for LATAM, providing engineering leadership to local Sales and Commercial teams to drive CM&U; growth.
- Business Agility:
Maintain a global perspective on aeroderivative fleet needs; adapt and reallocate engineering focus to support critical surges or high-priority technical requirements in regions outside of LATAM as business conditions evolve.
- Strategic Influence: Represent the company in regional customer forums and industry conferences, serving as the technical face of GE Vernova for the LATAM market and beyond.
Strategic ITO & Proposal Leadership
- Own the quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery of complex technical proposals, ensuring seamless alignment with unit configurations, regional customer requirements, and commercial quoting limits.
- Drive bid strategy in partnership with Sales to identify market opportunities, lead customer engagements, and provide high-level technical responses that differentiate GE Vernova solutions globally.
- Shape the future of CM&U; offerings by tracking industry, technology, and regulatory trends; translate these insights into actionable product strategies for regional deployment.
