The Senior Legal Counsel for Mexico and Latin America provides broad legal support across commercial, compliance, and regulatory matters, serving as the primary legal point of contact and support for The Pokémon Company International’s (TPCi) business in the region, while operating within TPCi’s governance frameworks and policies. This role functions as embedded subsidiary counsel with a high degree of independent judgment,
coordinating closely with TPCi Legal, business leaders and local external counsel as appropriate.

What you'll do
Legal Advisory & Transactional Support
- Provide front‑line legal advice and guidance to business stakeholders in support of day‑to‑day operations and strategic initiatives in Mexico and Latin America.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including commercial contracts, leases, sales, marketing and licensing agreements, vendor agreements, and other transactional documents.
- Advise on legal risk, contract interpretation, and practical solutions aligned with business objectives and TPCi risk tolerance.
Subsidiary Legal Ownership & Triage
- Act as the primary legal point of contact for the Mexico subsidiary, independently triaging legal matters and determining appropriate resolution or escalation to TPCi Legal.
