**Develop and implement compliance policies**
- Design, update, and ensure the implementation of policies and procedures that guarantee legal and regulatory compliance across all countries in the region.
**Monitor regulatory compliance**
- Oversee regional operations to ensure adherence to local laws, international regulations, and corporate standards (e.g., anti-corruption, data privacy, antitrust).
**Manage legal and compliance risks**
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks in collaboration with departments such as Legal, Finance,
HR, and Operations.
**Conduct internal investigations**
- Lead or coordinate investigations into potential violations of internal policies or laws, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.
**Deliver training and awareness programs**
- Develop and deliver training sessions on ethics, compliance, and corporate policies to employees at all levels.
**Perform audits and reviews**
- Plan and execute internal compliance audits and follow up on findings and action plans.
**Reporting and communication**
- Report to senior management and the global compliance function on the compliance status in the region, including incidents, key metrics, and improvements.
**Support in transactions and contracts**
- Review and validate contract clauses from a compliance perspective, especially in agreements with third parties, suppliers, and strategic partners.
**Third-party compliance management**
- Evaluate and monitor the compliance of suppliers, contractors, and business partners through due diligence and ongoing oversight.
**Adapt to regulatory changes**
- Stay informed about legal developments in the region and adjust internal policies and processes accordingly- #LI-GS1
