We are currently looking for a **Sr Supplier Warranty Engineer**to join our team in **Mexico City**.
This role is critical to investigating supplier warranty claims, analyzing liability data, and driving quality improvements across Nissan.
**A Day in the Life**:
- Investigate warranty claims to determine technical and financial liability through part reviews and incident rate analysis
- Negotiate warranty liability rates with suppliers and propose countermeasures for field concerns
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and customer service teams to resolve warranty-related issues
- Prepare detailed reports summarizing findings and recommending corrective actions
- Lead special projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives across warranty processes
**Who We're Looking for**:
**Required**:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or automotive engineering
- Minimum 5 years of professional automotive experience
- Advanced English level
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and warranty systems (e.g., CPIA Edart, QIDEA, WRAPs)
- Ability to perform work onsite at (Insert Location)
- Willingness to travel: Day travel up to 50%, overnight travel up to 30%, including international travel as needed
**Desired**:
- Familiarity with vehicle design, supplier quality processes, and statistical process control
- Ability to interpret dimensional layouts of parts, sub-assemblies, or systems




- Relevant certifications in automotive engineering or warranty management
- Experience with cross-functional project leadership
