Warehouse Supervisor

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**:
- Oversee receiving, storage, and issuance of elevator and escalator parts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories.
- Minimize discrepancies and ensure stock levels meet production and order fulfillment needs.
**Team Leadership**:
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
- Schedule shifts and assign daily tasks to meet operational goals.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
**Safety and Compliance**:
- Enforce strict safety protocols, especially for handling heavy and sensitive components.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
**Logistics and Distribution**:
- Coordinate with logistics partners for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure timely dispatch of products to clients and service teams.




- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization and material flow.
**Quality Assurance**:
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects.
- Ensure all components are stored properly to prevent damage or deterioration.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, shipments, and productivity.
- Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track movements and generate reports.
**Qualifications**:
- **Speak skills (English/Spanish/Chinese**).

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or automotive industries.
- Experience handling technical components (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or metal parts).
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards and inventory best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience in elevators, escalators, or construction supply chain management.
- Certification in forklift operation or warehouse safety.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
