Slalom Build's Data Engineering capability is focused on injecting intelligence into products, engineering systems that support learning and insight and creating innovative data products.
Within Data Engineering we help customers build world-class products through effective use of:
- Data engineering consisting of streaming / real-time data solutions, modern data platforms and data systems within products (i.e., database systems, graph databases, key-value stores, document databases and transactional systems)

**Role: Data Analyst**
We are seeking a proactive and communicative Data Analyst to join our team in the Guadalajara metro area.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights.
**What You'll Do**
- Extract and analyze data from various databases
- Work closely with developers to define metrics and validate event tracking requirements (e.g., video play events, user interaction flows, drop-offs).
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools
- Identify trends and patterns in data to support strategic initiatives
- Ensure data quality and accuracy across all reporting outputs




- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver insights in a clear, visual, and actionable manner
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Troubleshoot issues related to data pipelines or visualization inconsistencies using a foundational understanding of scripting languages
**What You'll Bring**
- Strong knowledge of databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools
- Understanding of data persistence concepts—what should and should not persist across user sessions
- Familiarity with scripting languages for data analysis (e.g., Python, R) and the ability to interpret code for troubleshooting purposes
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to ask questions, clarify requirements, and present insights clearly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- English proficiency
