Incoming inspection, the review of characteristics has relevance because small details have large economic consequences.
The inspector must focus on completing his work with the required precision and identifying possible risks, having adequate interaction between the Quality-Design-Production-SCM departments.
It must ensure the quality of the products and raw materials for the manufacture of the transformer as well as the timely calibration of the measuring instruments used in the manufacturing process, to meet the requirements of customers and plant needs; with respect for the environment, safety, health and adherence to safe working practices and prevention of illegal activities.
**How You'll Make an Impact**:
- **Monitor material conformance**as described in work instructions and design specifications.
Identify material requiring inspection and prioritize according to manufacturing need.
Filling of records and release in SAP.
Identification of inspection status and generation of nonconformity if applicable.
- **Metrology.
** Implement the process of external calibrations and internal verifications of measuring instruments.
Generate requisitions for external calibrations, coordinate in-plant services for instruments that cannot be sent to laboratory.
Follow up calibration results, labeling and control of equipment.
Perform internal instrument verifications according to established procedures.
- **Create, analyze and complete nonconformities** related to the problems found in the process or product and **ensure the implementation of corrective actions** derived with the search for recurrence in these nonconformities.
- **Audit and ensure compliance with ISO **** standards** in all areas of the company as well as participate in audits or material reviews with suppliers (within Mexico).
- **Support with the inspection and development of new suppliers and products** according to the needs of the company.
**What You Bring**:




- Preparatory completed.
At least one year of experience in manufacturing/production areas or within the inspection areas.
- Office software and SAP.
- Knowledge of ISO **** and safe handling of materials.
- Skills / Competencies - Proactive, Responsible, Decision making, Execution, Customer focus, change management, phenomenal teammate, communication skills, assertiveness.
- Availability to rotate shifts, driver's license, weekend work.
