Strategic Sourcing Specialist - ProcurementJob SummaryThe Strategic Sourcing Specialist supports the corporate strategic sourcing and vendor relations function and associated processes to ensure the company is strategically sourcing materials, equipment, and services with the highest level of quality and in the most cost-effective manner.Essential FunctionsTriage purchasing requests to ensure timely and appropriate engagementResearch internal customer needs and identify the best contracted vendor to provide products and/or servicesFacilitate Request for Quote (RFQ) activities for new and existing products and/or servicesAssist with the monitoring of contractual relationships to ensure that Client receives the highest quality of products and contracted servicesEstablish and maintain partnerships with internal customers and vendors for maximum value and policy complianceCollaborate with legal to ensure contracts follow the contract review and approval process per company policyAnalyze vendor contracts and recommend appropriate changesNegotiate contracts with vendors for favorable terms, services, and quality that comply with industry regulationsMonitor active contracts expiring term report to assist with renewalsAssist with annual review of all active contracts to ensure security, regulatory, and legal language are up to datePerform any other job-related duties as requested.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in business administration, procurement or related field requiredEquivalent years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of required educationTwo (2) years of experience in strategic sourcing/purchasing/procurement requiredPrevious experience in a healthcare environment preferredCompetencies,
