Great people make Schneider Electric a great company.Schneider Electric is looking for a seasoned FABRICATION ENGINEER to work with other manufacturing engineers and managers to facilitate the creation of a new manufacturing facility in Apodaca N.L.ResponsibilitiesInstalling & qualifying the soft tools, the press brakes, the punching equipment, the spotwelding equipment & the powder coat systemCoordinating the installation of the fabrication equipment & pant line system, while adhering to safety guidelinesDefining the fabrication and paint line value stream maps,Designing the line architecture and shop floor layoutsCoordinating the NC programming for the fabrication equipmentDefining the takt time (the mfg rate to match customer demand) for the fabrication areaEnsuring adequate fabrication capacity and paint system capacityMonitoring the Overall Equipment EffectivenessLeading the continuous improvement efforts for Low Voltage DrawOut Switchgear.Applying Lean/Six Sigma problem solving methods for root cause resolutionDeveloping the capital expenditure proposals for fabrication areaCreating detailed plans for every fabrication part (20k fab components)Designing safe/ergonomic fabrication and material handling solutionsSupporting new product development projects (cost estimates, layouts, tooling,
