Advanced Processing of Invoices: Lead the processing of invoices using AS400 and QAD ERP systems, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.Reviewing and Verifying: Ensure all invoices and check requests are accurate, properly authorized, and comply with company policies.Automation: Champion the use of AP automation tools to streamline invoice processing, reduce manual entry, and enhance overall efficiency.Accounts Management: For electronic payments – Oversee the timely processing of invoices for weekly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts payable transactions, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.Utilities and Rents Monitoring: Monitor and process payments for utilities and rents, ensuring no suspensions or disruptions in services for Canada and the USA.Compliance and Reporting – Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations, staying updated with changes and implementing necessary adjustments.Compliance and Reporting – Reporting: Support month‐end activities by preparing and analysing AP reports to provide insights and support decision‐making processes.Innovation and Continuous Improvement – Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement innovative solutions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.Innovation and Continuous Improvement – Training & Development: Continuously develop skills through training programs and mentor junior team members.QualificationsEducation: Major in accounting or equivalent (Corporate Finance, Business Administration, Economics).
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role, with a proven track record of handling complex AP processes.Accounting Software:



Proficiency in ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.Productivity: Consistent productivity level of processing a minimum of 500 invoices correctly each week.Communication: Excellent communication abilities and a customer‐focused approach.Specific Attributes:Automation Tools: Familiarity with AP automation tools and portals (e.g. Coupa, Ariba, etc.).
Data Analytics: Ability to use data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to generate insights and improve processes.Cybersecurity Awareness: Knowledge of best practices in data security and privacy.English B2 as a minimum.Spanish Fluency.Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders across different regions.Problem‐Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies efficiently.Adaptability: Flexibility to work with diverse teams and adapt to different regulatory environments.Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding of cultural nuances in business practices across the regions.Data‐Driven: Familiar with automation tools, self‐motivated, courageous, and a team player.Conscientiousness: High level of attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility to ensure accuracy and reliability in all tasks.Respect and Kindness: Demonstrates respect and kindness towards others.Collaboration: Ability to combine personal talent with the talents of others to achieve extraordinary results.Diversity & InclusionWe believe that different perspectives and backgrounds are what make a company flourish.
