Position Description
The Case Researcher is responsible for reviewing case information and conducting detailed research on the case actors.
This role requires strong attention to detail, good judgment, and the ability to review information from multiple sources.
The case researcher will document findings clearly, manage multiple searches, and handle sensitive and confidential information with care.
Essential Responsibilities Execute comprehensive background and asset investigations on all parties involved in active litigation.
Analyze diverse case records, such as police reports and claim files, to establish a holistic perspective on each matter.
Utilize proprietary databases and public record utilities to uncover corporate structures and financial data.
Determine the identity of liable entities and evaluate the breadth of resources available for claim satisfaction.
Explore secondary recovery avenues, including umbrella policies and employer-based coverage, when facts warrant.
Validate findings by synthesizing information across varied independent platforms to ensure data integrity.
Address discrepancies and information gaps through persistent investigative follow-ups.
Maintain rigorous documentation of investigative paths and specific sources consulted for every task.
Develop precise and substantiated research abstracts detailing all pertinent discoveries.
Oversee the systematic tracking of all research requests from inception to completion.
Balance a high volume of active files while consistently meeting internal delivery deadlines.
Uphold the highest standards for data privacy and research quality throughout the investigative process.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Reliable laptop with 16 GB+ RAM High-speed internet (60 Mbps or higher) C1–C2 English proficiency Profound understanding of legal research and/or investigative research processes.
Ability to prepare clear and accurate research summaries.
Ability to manage highly sensitive data and confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications: A dedicated and quiet workspace Second monitor and noise-canceling headphones Degree in Law or a related field from a recognized university in Mexico.
Prior experience with U. S. insurance and/or personal injury claims.
Other Qualifications: Strong research and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple searches.
