At Sony, we are looking for a
Data Analytics Specialist
who will help us transform large volumes of information into strategic insights to support decision-making within a general organization.
This position will be responsible for designing analytics solutions, integrating multiple data sources, developing executive dashboards, and generating metrics that provide visibility into trends, improvement opportunities, and operational performance.
You will work with international technology, infrastructure, and security teams, collaborating to build a comprehensive data-driven view across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle, including data extraction, transformation, cleansing, analysis, and visualization.
Design and maintain executive dashboards using
Power BI and Microsoft Fabric
.
Create scalable data models and reporting structures.
Integrate information from multiple platforms, internal systems, and technology asset inventories.
Analyze large volumes of data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Develop KPIs and executive reports for global leadership teams.
Automate analytics processes and reporting generation.
Document data models, refresh processes,
and KPI logic.
Collaborate with global teams to understand information needs and translate them into effective analytics solutions.
Requirements:
Experience as a
Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Analytics Engineer, Data Scientist, or Data Engineer
.
Strong experience with:
Power BI
(data modeling, DAX, and visualization).
SQL
for data extraction and transformation.
Managing databases and multiple data sources.
Experience creating dashboards and reports for different levels of an organization.
Ability to analyze complex information and translate it into clear recommendations.
Experience working with modern data platforms such as
Microsoft Fabric, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, or similar technologies
.
Advanced English skills for collaboration with international teams.
Nice to Have:
Experience with
Python or PowerShell
for automation.
Knowledge of cloud environments such as
Azure, AWS, or GCP
.
Experience with tools such as
Databricks or Snowflake
.
Knowledge of IT environments, infrastructure, or security domains (
desirable but not required
).
