Field Application Engineer/After-sales Engineer
We are seeking an experiencedSenior Field Technicianspecialized inBESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) , focusing onPCS (Power Conversion Systems)andLithium Battery Systems.
This role includes overseeing the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of energy storage systems inC&I; (Commercial & Industrial)andUtility Scaleenvironments.The Senior Field Technician will also supporttechnical trainingactivities.
This includes delivering training sessions for customers and internal staff, as well as contributing to the development oftechnical proceduresandtraining documentation.Key Responsibilities
1. Technical OperationsLead installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting ofPCS ,Lithium Battery Systems , andBESS/RESSsolutions.Conduct functional tests, performance monitoring, and system diagnostics.Ensure project milestones are completed in line with company standards and customer expectations.2.
Call Center Technical SupportParticipate incall center supportfor technical troubleshooting and remote diagnostics.Collaborate with theHelp Deskteam to resolve advanced technical cases.Act as the technical escalation point for complex issues.3.
Customer Support & CommunicationServe as the primary technical contact for customers during field operations.Provide detailed explanations of system performance and troubleshooting steps.Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional service delivery.4.
Reporting & DocumentationPrepare technical reports, including diagnostics, repair logs, and commissioning records.Ensure accurate completion of service records, inspection forms, and checklists.5.
Training & Technical Procedure DevelopmentConduct technicaltraining sessionsfor customers,



service partners, and internal teams.Actively contribute to the development oftraining materialsandtechnical proceduresfor installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Support the continuous improvement of training content by integrating field experiences and lessons learned.6.
Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards and safety policies.Conduct on-site safety inspections and maintain proper tool and equipment handling procedures.Requirements
Education & CertificationDiploma or degree inElectrical Engineering ,Energy Systems ,Mechatronics , or related technical fields.Professional skills inBESS/PCS/RESSinstallation, maintenance, and commissioning.ExperienceMinimum 1-2 years of experience in field service related toBESS/PCS/RESSsystems.Proven experience leading commissioning and maintenance projects onC&IandUtility; Scalesystems.Experience in training delivery and procedure development is highly desirable.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge ofPCS ,BESS , andRESStechnologies, including grid compliance.Ability to read and interprettechnical blueprints ,wiring diagrams , andcontrol schematics.Familiarity withSCADA systems ,EMS (Energy Management Systems) , andmonitoring platforms.Soft SkillsExcellentcommunication skillsfor delivering training and technical explanations.Problem-solvingandcritical thinkingskills to manage complex technical challenges.Adaptabilityto changing project environments and deadlines.Frequent travel to various project sites.Field-based environment with exposure toindustrialand outdoor conditions.On-call availabilityduring critical project phases and emergencies.Seniority level
