BOM creation and maintenance

Creates and maintains Bills of Material (BOMs) for GE Vernova products under supervision. Executes standard BOM creation processes following established procedures and quality standards.



Focuses on learning product knowledge and developing technical proficiency in PLM/ERP systems.Create single and multi-level BOMs for standard products following documented proceduresInput and validate part data in PLM/ERP systems with accuracyExecute BOM modifications based on approved engineering change ordersPerform quality self-checks using established check tools before submissionDocumentation & Data Quality

Verify part master data completeness and accuracyFlag data quality issues to senior team membersMaintain accurate work logs and status trackingDocument standard work procedures as learnedLearning & Development

Complete assigned training curriculum on scheduleShadow senior analysts to learn complex processesParticipating in product knowledge sessionsBuild proficiency in PLM/ERP systemsDevelop understanding of product architecturesCollaboration & Communication

Attend weekly stand-ups and team meetingsCommunicate status and issues to mentor/supervisorAsk clarifying questions when requirements are unclearParticipating in team improvement activitiesBuild relationships with engineering contactsMinimum Job Requirements

Bachelor’s DegreeBasic understanding of the New Unit Release process from ITO to COD process milestones.Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.Desired Characteristics

Presentation Skills: Ability to communicate with Lead Engineers.Ability to participate effectively with internal peers.Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.Effective problem identification and solution skills.Additional Information
