About the Role:
This is a brand-new, hands-on position for someone who wants to build a marketing function from the ground up rather than step into an existing playbook. We have grown almost entirely through referrals for two decades, and while that speaks to the quality of our work, referral volume alone isn't generating the pipeline it used to.
We're looking for a marketing “Swiss Army knife” —someone with real experience who can independently own strategy and execution across content, CRM, SEO, and light outreach, reporting directly to the CEO.
Our idóneo client profile is specific and narrow — this is not a spray-and-pray role. Success looks like sharp, targeted campaigns aimed at the creative and gallery/arts world, not high-volume generic marketing.
What You'll Do:
- Build and run a targeted marketing strategy aligned to our specific ideal client profile — no mass-market campaigns.
- Set up and manage Hub Spot as our CRM: track leads, build simple pipelines, and (working with our AI/product team) connect Hub Spot to Levy, our practice management platform.
- Own our Word Press website's content — keep it current and optimized for both traditional SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO), so we can show up when people search or ask AI tools.
- Grow and activate our Linked In company page (9,000+ followers) beyond newsletter reposts — turn that audience into real engagement and pipeline.
- Plan and execute email campaigns and targeted, low-volume cold outreach to a well-defined prospect list.
- Research industry conferences, associations, and seasonal events in the design, fashion, and gallery/arts worlds, and identify sponsorship and visibility opportunities.
- Build a simple system to capture and amplify client wins — press features, shows,
launches — as marketing content (we used to do this informally over Slack and want to bring it back, better).
- Produce webinars, client office hours, and a podcast — from planning and booking through hosting logistics and promotion.
- Shoot, edit, and publish video content, and manage our presence on You Tube and the website.
- Stay current on new marketing technology and AI tools, and pilot the ones that make sense for a firm our size.
- Help establish our voice as a thought leader in the creative/high-net-worth advisory space.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven marketing experience — you should be able to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding; this role has no dedicated training support.
- Hands-on Hub Spot (or comparable CRM) experience — comfortable configuring it independently.
- Experience building and running email campaigns and cold outreach.
- Comfortable managing website content in Word Press, with working knowledge of SEO and GEO best practices.
- Experience producing webinars, podcasts, or similar recurring live/recorded content, start to finish.
- Video production, editing, and publishing skills — comfortable shooting and editing footage and managing a You Tube channel.
- A blend of marketing and sales instincts — you understand how to connect with an ICP, run a campaign, and help build a pipeline, not just create content.
- A self-starter who can manage competing priorities and “land and expand” into new areas without close oversight.
- Creative, curious, and energetic — an “idea-a-minute” person who isn't intimidated by new technology and is excited to test things out.
- Nice to have: familiarity with the creative, luxury, arts/gallery, or professional-services world, or experience marketing to high-net-worth clients.
