**Job Summary**
We are seeking highly organized and detail-oriented **bilingual**Immigration Paralegals to support our EOIR/Immigration Court team.
Paralegals will help prepare and manage a high volume of cases for immigration clients in the United States.
**Experience prepping for immigration detained individual hearings as a paralegal is**_**required**_**.
**Work will be completed in English, so a strong English reading and writing level is also a requirement.
**Please note that the pay scale for this job posting is based on Latin America's salary range**.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Meet with clients (via phone and video) to gather case information and prepare documents.
- Draft legal documents and affidavits.
- Manage a voluminous caseload for clients and meet priorities set by case manager.
- Update practice management software with all client information and case progress.
- Translation of documents from Spanish to English.
- Interpret for appointments from Spanish to English and English to Spanish.
- Update case management software in real time with all client information and case progress; complete all Clio Tasks in a timely manner.
- Time track hours worked in accordance with the firm's time tracking policy.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Excellent fluency in both English and Spanish (conversing, reading, and writing).
- High school diploma or equivalent; paralegal education a plus.
- Experience in EOIR individual hearings as a paralegal required.
- Stable work history.
- Passion to help underserved populations and to help people from all walks of life.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adobe PDF experience preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to learn quickly, handle a high case volume, and adapt easily to changing circumstances.
