**Job Summary**:
- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Test Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

- This role involves_ _being responsible for managing the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of testing procedures, strategies, systems, components, and modifications.
Act as an advisor to test engineering team regarding projects, tasks, and operations and acts as a liaison to other engineering functions.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget._
**What a typical day looks like**:
- _ Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing._
- _ Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation and calibration of instruments, equipment and control devices required for testing, and recording data._
- _ Defines conditions under which tests are conducted, including sequences and phases of test operations._
- _ Interfaces with scientific, engineering, and technical personnel to resolve testing issues such as product malfunctions, incomplete data, or interpretation challenges._
- _ Evaluates and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for engineering teams and management._
- _ Develops or utilizes computer software and hardware to execute tests on electronic products, systems, or software._
- _ Trains and instructs technicians, operators, and support teams on test systems and problem-solving methodologies._




- _ Coordinates all test activities during each project phase._
- _ Resolves yield issues through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous monitoring._
- _ Supports equipment verification and integration into production._
- _ Creates and maintains process documentation._
- _ Actively explores and implements new technologies and test methodologies._
- _ Assesses testing process alternatives and drives improvements._
- _ Ensure test strategy risks are documented and mitigated._
- _ Manages risks associated with testing activities and takes proactive action._
- _ Plans and coordinates meetings, workshops, and interactions with stakeholders across development and testing phases._
**The experience we're looking to add to our team**:
- _ Bachelor ́s Degree in Electronics, mechatronics or related._
- _ Advanced English level._
- _ Proven experience developing and installing ICT / FT / 5DX management._
- _ Experience in similar position within a manufacturing environment._
- _ Strong background in functional testing and system integration._
- _ Test instrumentation experience._
- _ Advanced programming knowledge._
- _ Experience with flying probe systems (Takaya & SPEA).

**_ Electrical Testing & Validation_**
- _ Strong hands-on experience performing AC/DC functional testing across industrial environments, including protection relays, medium voltage (MV) switchgear, and MV circuit breakers._




- _ Validates electrical safety through arc flash analysis and structured compliance methodologies._
- _ Experience with HIPOT systems, including dielectric withstand (AC/DC), insulation resistance, and leakage current testing._
- _ Integrates HIPOT testing into ATE and production environments in compliance with UL, IEC, and ANSI standards._
**_ Power Electronics & Electrical Systems_**
- _ Solid experience in power electronics, including AC/DC and DC/DC conversion systems._
- _ Hands-on exposure to inverters, rectifiers, SMPS, and VFDs._
- _ Knowledge of low
- and medium-voltage (LV/MV) systems, including electrical distribution, grounding, and protection schemes._
- _ Ensures alignment with safety requirements and EHS standards in testing and operations._
**_ Systems Integration & Architecture_**
- _ Proven experience managing end-to-end system integration projects, including hardware, software, and production environments._
- _ Defines and implements communication interfaces and protocols such as APIs, OPC, and industrial networks._
- _ Contributes to scalable architecture supporting automation and digitalization initiatives._
**_ Industrial Networking & Connectivity_**
- _ Experience with industrial and enterprise network infrastructure (Layer 2/Layer 3, VLANs, TCP/IP, subnetting).

- _ Integrates network infrastructure with PLCs, SCADA, and automated test platforms._
- _ Strong troubleshooting skills addressing network performance, latency, and cross-system connectivity issues._
