**Job Summary**
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for electronic components, materials, and services to support manufacturing operations.
This role ensures cost competitiveness, supplier quality, and continuity of supply while complying with industry standards such as IPC, ISO, and IATF.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for electronic components (PCBs, semiconductors, connectors, passive components, etc.)
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and technical capability
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, contracts, LTAs, and payment terms
- Drive cost reduction initiatives (VA/VE, resourcing, should-cost analysis)
- Manage supplier performance using KPIs (OTD, PPM, lead time, cost reduction)
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, NPI, and Manufacturing teams
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by sourcing and qualifying new suppliers/components
- Ensure compliance with **IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610), ISO ****, ISO ***** and IATF *******:
- Mitigate supply chain risks (shortages, obsolescence, single-source suppliers)
- Monitor market trends (component shortages, pricing fluctuations, global supply risks)
- Lead supplier audits and development initiatives




- Manage contracts and ensure legal/commercial compliance
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of sourcing/procurement experience in the **electronics manufacturing industry (EMS or OEM)**:
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and supply markets
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Proven negotiation and supplier management skills
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with **low-volume, high-mix**:
- Familiarity with **IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001)**:
- Certifications: CPSM, CSCP, or CIPS
- Experience managing general suppliers (Asia, North America, Europe)
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per month
