**Plant Quality Manager**
**Location**: San Luis Potosí, S.L.P.
**Salary**: Attractive (based on experience)
**Position Objective**
Provide leadership and assume responsibility for the planning, development, implementation, and management of Plant Quality activities, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System and guaranteeing the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the Plant Quality Management System.
- Lead and coordinate the Quality team (metrologists, inspectors, and area personnel).
- Supervise receiving inspection and in-process plant inspection activities.
- Manage and follow up on customer claims and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with containment and cost reduction targets assigned to the Quality department.
- Collaborate with Production, Materials, and Manufacturing Support departments to meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery objectives, promoting customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and review documentation related to Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Availability to travel occasionally (10% to 15%).
**Requirements**:
- Minimum **5 years of experience** in a manufacturing plant.
- At least **2 years of experience** in supervision or people leadership.
- Previous management experience or willingness to obtain external certifications in Management and/or Quality.
- Mandatory experience in the **metal-mechanic industry**.
- Knowledge of **TIG and MIG welding processes** and color coding standards.




- **Advanced English proficiency is mandatory (C1 level)** due to direct customer interaction and claim management.
- **CWI welding certification** is desirable.
**Knowledge and Skills**
- Strong knowledge of modern quality processes and measurement/testing equipment.
- Root cause analysis, problem-solving techniques, and technical analysis skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills; attention to detail and ability to perform tasks in a timely and professional manner.
- Strong leadership, teamwork, meeting management, and personnel management skills.
- High level of integrity and results-driven mindset.
**Tools and Software**
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, among others).
