As a Field Service Engineer, you'll have a meaningful role in installing large gas turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems worldwide.
Every single day, you'll guide subcontractors to complete crucial tasks, ensuring seamless installations.
You'll work closely with customers and subcontractors, participating in site meetings to coordinate activities and manage the receipt and timing of materials.
Your insights and status updates will be consistently shared with back-office engineering and management, supporting our mission of balanced energy solutions.
**How You'll Make an Impact**:
- Supervise the mechanical installation crews of large gas turbines, generators, and related equipment.
- Provide mentorship and direction to our customers (EPC) during the gas or steam turbine erection.
- Complete and submit daily job activity reports.
- Lead and direct subcontractors to perform erection tasks, serving as the primary contact on the Siemens Energy jobsite.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering department to resolve issues during erection activities.
- Successfully implement installation plans to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
**What You Bring**:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.




- 5+ years of experience in power plant construction projects.
- Extensive experience with large gas or steam turbine erection activities and auxiliary equipment.
- Proven ability to work directly with customers (EPC) for equipment installation.
- Dedicated with the ability to make decisions with mínimal mentorship.
- Working proficiency in English.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn other programs as needed.
- Willingness to travel internationally 90% of the time.
