Responsible for ensuring business has the supplies and inventory it needs to function.
Their duties include communicating with suppliers about the status of supplies, problem‐solving to reduce the impact of late shipments and submitting purchase orders to vendors.
Responsibilities
Contact vendors, place orders, verify supplies, manage supply requisition and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates and inform to final users
As required, check work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations.
Ensure that materials shipped and received are verified against pertinent documentation
Responsible for the timely processing of expedited deliveries
Follow up on late orders and confirm pending deliveries on open orders
Shipments Analysis and Control per supplier.
Negotiate with supplier's orders cancellation
Identifying and implementing cost savings initiatives
Supplier delivery performance issues to suppliers and internal customers
Quote with suppliers, as requested
RMA Process follow up, as requested
Review and coordinate data with A/P and Materials Receiving associates for missing payments.
Comply with and ensure compliance with PKC Group's Environment, Health and Safety Policy and Energy Policy.
Comply with the environmental, health, safety and energy requirements set forth in Federal, State and Municipal legislation and applicable regulations related to our activities and products to comply with the EMASS (Energy, Environment, Health and Safety) procedures inherent to their work position.
Contribute to the effectiveness of the Energy, Environment, Health and Safety Management System,
including the achievement of the EMASS Objectives and Goals.
Required Profile
Education and Experience
1 Years of experience, automotive business desirable, in areas related to Manufacturing, Materials, Planning, Logistics and/or Purchasing

Confidence and integrity
Organizational and planning skills
Ability to work under pressure
Written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge in Gages, Go/No Go and Fixtures.
