**Injection Molding Coordinator**Company: Rieke de Mexico Manufacturing, S. de R.L.de C.V.Primary Location: Calle Circuito Corral de Piedras, Manzana 1, Lote 16, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, *****, MEXEmployment Type: Salaried | Full-TimeFunction: Manufacturing Production / DistributionEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled**Main Duties & Responsibilities**Position Summary:The Injection Molding Coordinator reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible to coordinate, supervise, and optimize injection molding processes, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, cost, and production schedule standards, through the effective management of resources, personnel, materials, and process parameters, in order to guarantee operational efficiency and continuous improvement.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate and supervise daily injection molding operations to ensure production targets are met.Monitor and optimize process parameters to ensure product quality, consistency, and efficiency.Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.Coordinate machine setups, mold changes, and start-ups, ensuring mínimal downtime.Troubleshoot process, equipment, and quality issues, implementing corrective actions.Collaborate with maintenance, quality, engineering, and production teams to resolve operational issues.Train, guide,



and support injection molding technicians and operators.Manage and control scrap rates, cycle times, and material usage.Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of materials and molds.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and process stability.Maintain accurate production and process documentation.Support new product launches, trials, and process validations.Enforce 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards in the molding area.Other activities assigned by your immediate Supervisor.
**Qualifications**Bachelor's degree in Engineering, quality or technical Training, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience working as a Molding Injection or Engineer in a manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of ISO****:**** or other regulated industry quality management system standardsMetal stamping and injection molding experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsTechnical writing experience preferredDemonstrated experience leading technical teams and taking initiativePreferred Qualifications Skills:Experience with injection molding.Plastic Packaging industry experience.Technical experience in rigid packaging, closures and bottles fit and finishes.
