## Test Engineering Technician Applylocations:Mexico Nogalestime type:Full timeposted on:Posted Todayjob requisition id:R***** Principal Responsibilities:• Supports engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanicalsystems, experimental design circuits, or specialized test equipment•The candidate should possess a strong hands-on mindset to support production equipment• Applications may include analog, digital, and/or logic systems• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, andtroubleshooting functions• Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work• Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment• Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions• Assists in the design, construction, test, and checkout of test equipment• Uses manufacturing test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including but not limited to such equipment as oscilloscopes, signalgenerators, and specialized test apparatus, which may require software skillsRequired Skills:• Requires an Associate degree or equivalent technician experience• Minimum of 4+ years of related experiencePreferred Skills:Instrumentation & Measurement ExpertiseSkilled in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal analyzers, and pressure transducers for accurate electrical and mechanicalmeasurements.
•Test Procedure Development & Execution• Ability to follow and refine test protocols,



ensuring repeatability and reliability in electrical and pressure-related testing.Troubleshooting & Root Cause AnalysisStrong diagnostic skills to quickly identify and resolve electrical or sensor-related issues in test setups and productionenvironments.
•Data Acquisition & AnalysisProficiency with data logging systems and software tools (e.g., Lab VIEW, MINITAB, POWER BI, or similar) to collect, interpret,and report test results.
•Knowledge of Safety Standards & ComplianceFamiliarity with electrical safety practices, ESD handling, and industry standards (e.g., IEC or SEMI) to ensure safe andcompliant testing.
•Collaboration & Communication SkillsAbility to work closely with engineers, managers, and production teams, clearly documenting results and providing feedbackfor process improvements.
