What does a Freelance Online Portuguese Teacher do at Busuu?
As a Freelance Online Portuguese Teacher at Busuu, you'll play a key role in helping students learn Portuguese effectively and confidently.
On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will likely include:
Planning, preparing, and teaching online lessons (45 minutes each)for corporate clients.1:1 Lessons:Deliver private lessons that include both language teaching and personalised coaching - conducting needs analyses, assessing levels, creating bespoke learning paths, checking progress during lesson time,



and setting clear goals.What we're looking for in a Freelance Online Language Teacher:C2 Level of PortugueseValid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or related university degreesExperience in online teaching and providing 1:1 coaching or personalised learning supportFluency in additional languages:
B1 or above in EnglishBonus:Speaking more than two languagesComfortable teaching:presentation skills, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, multicultural communication, etc.Excellent communication skills:to engage and teach studentsHigh-Speed Internet, Modern Laptop / PC with a microphone and cameraMust comply with local freelance/contractor regulationsWhat are the terms of this freelance role?
