About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Engineering Services business across Automotive, Aerospace, and Defense industries in Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the engineering services ecosystem, experience selling technical staffing or engineering solutions, and a proven ability to develop new business while managing strategic customer relationships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and collaborating with general delivery teams to provide engineering solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Identify, qualify, and acquire new customers within the Automotive, Aerospace, and Defense sectors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and engineering organizations.

Generate leads through networking, industry events, referrals, cold calling, and digital outreach.

Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.

Collaborate with engineering, recruitment, and delivery teams to develop customized solutions for clients.

Understand customer engineering challenges and propose staffing, project-based, or managed engineering services.

Prepare proposals, presentations, Statements of Work (SOWs), and commercial quotations.

Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities,



and emerging business opportunities.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline using CRM tools.

Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Work closely with global leadership teams to expand the company's presence in the Mexican market.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

5–10+ years of Business Development or Sales experience within Engineering Services or Technical Staffing.

Demonstrated experience selling engineering solutions in Automotive, Aerospace, or Defense industries.

Strong understanding of engineering services including:

Product Engineering

Mechanical Design

Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Embedded Systems

Software Engineering

Manufacturing Engineering

CAE/Simulation

PLM

Digital Engineering

Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Experience working with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and manufacturing organizations.

Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Willingness to travel extensively across Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications

Existing relationships with Automotive, Aerospace, or Defense companies in Mexico.

Experience selling Engineering Services, IT Engineering, Product Development, or Technical Staffing solutions.

Knowledge of nearshore engineering delivery models.

Familiarity with manufacturing and engineering standards such as APQP, PPAP, AS9100, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949.

Experience working with global engineering organizations.
