About the Role

We are looking for a Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team in Mexico City. This is not a junior role – we need someone with solid experience in corporate formation and ongoing compliance for foreign and local clients. You will work directly with notaries, government agencies, and internal teams to handle company incorporations, shareholders' meetings, legal representative changes, and tax/social security/foreign investment registrations.

This role requires immediate availability and working English proficiency is required for internal communication.

What You'll Do

- Company Incorporation – Manage end-to-end setup of new entities: drafting corporate deeds, obtaining tax ID (RFC), registering with the Foreign Investment Registry, and handling IMSS registration.
- Shareholders' Meetings – Prepare and file meeting minutes, resolutions, and related documentation; ensure timely filing with the Public Registry of Commerce (RPC).
- Legal Representative Changes – Handle appointment or replacement of legal representatives; prepare and register powers of attorney (POA) with notaries and the RPC.
- Registration Procedures – Coordinate with tax authorities (SAT), IMSS, INFONAVIT, and the Foreign Investment Registry for all required filings and updates.
- Notary Liaison – Work closely with notary offices for document legalization, corporate deeds, certified copies, and any other notarial procedures.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure ongoing compliance with Mexican corporate law.




- Assist with ad-hoc legal tasks as assigned by senior counsel.

What We're Looking For

- Notary Experience (Required) – Hands-on experience with Mexican notary offices (company incorporation, document authentication, powers of attorney, etc.) is essential .
- Experience – 3–6 years of experience in corporate legal support, company registration, or foreign investment procedures. This is a mid-level role – we are looking for someone who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Education – Bachelor's degree in Law (Licenciatura en Derecho). A specialization in Corporate Law or Tax Law is a plus.
- Language – English: Working proficiency (required for internal communication with international colleagues and reading legal documents).
- Knowledge – Solid understanding of Mexican corporate law, the General Law of Commercial Companies (LGSM), and foreign investment regulations.
- Soft Skills – Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting strict deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
