Lead and manage the team responsible for ensuring that all existing and future store locations in Mexico meet applicable local regulations, safeguarding timely store openings and continuous operations while minimizing the risk of delays, suspensions, or compliance-related issues
- Develop and implement strategies and procedures to ensure all required licenses for new and existing stores are obtained, verified, and maintained in compliance with the FCPA, Mexican anti-corruption laws, and AutoZone policies.
- Oversee the ongoing administration of Permits Department processes and activities to efficiently secure municipal, state, and federal permits in line with new store opening schedules and ensure annual renewal of existing store permits.
- Lead reporting and analysis to identify opportunities, improve processes, and monitor new permit applications and permit renewals.
- Manage the annual budget for permit fees, vendor fees, and related studies.
- Lead the implementation of processes and action plans that support timely new store openings and the achievement of business objectives.
- Build relationships with authorities and organizations to obtain timely updates and address permit-related issues.
