what you'll do

- commercial strategy & execution
- translate commercial strategy into actionable sales plans across channels (retail, foodservice, industrial, export as applicable)
- drive execution of sales initiatives to deliver revenue growth, profitability, and market share
- optimize portfolio performance, balancing growth, margin, and customer mix
- collaborate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of key business projects and sales objectives
- portfolio & business ownership
- own a significant portion of the business portfolio with full accountability for performance outcomes
- establish sales targets, forecasts, and kpis aligned with business objectives
- monitor performance trends and implement corrective actions as needed
- ensure disciplined execution of commercial policies, governance, pricing protocols, and tools
- customer & market leadership
- lead strategic relationships with key customers and distributors




- identify and capture new business opportunities, channels, and partnerships
- leverage market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer needs to inform strategy
- team leadership & capability building
- lead, coach, and develop sales managers and broader sales teams
- build a high-performing, accountable, and customer-focused sales organization
- drive talent development, succession planning, and engagement for the local sales team

what you'll need to succeed

- bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (mba preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive experience in sales or commercial roles
- proven experience leading multi-channel sales teams
- strong track record of delivering revenue growth and profitability
- experience managing strategic customer relationships and negotiations
- strategic thinking and commercial acumen, experience in food manufacturing or consumer goods preferred
