Job Title: Remote Production Manager (100% Work From Home)

Salary: $10-15/hr depending on experience

Our Client

Our client is a fast-paced custom manufacturing business seeking a highly organized and reliable Production Manager (Administrative) to support their production team.

Job Overview

This person will serve as a critical backup and administrative right hand to the production team, ensuring that orders, shipments, and fabric procurement are tracked closely and nothing falls through the cracks. This role is idóneo for someone with real workforce experience who can take ownership of day-to-day production administration, catch issues before they become delays, and keep orders and shipments moving on schedule. The right candidate will quickly learn the business's production flow, proactively monitor timelines, and act as a dependable backup to the production manager whenever needed.

Responsibilities

Order & Shipment Tracking

- Monitor the status and timing of all incoming and outgoing shipments

- Track packages and follow up proactively on delays or exceptions

- Ensure all orders are entered, confirmed, and progressing on schedule

- Flag potential delays early and escalate issues before they impact clients

Production Support & Backup




- Serve as a reliable backup to the production manager on administrative tasks

- Order fabrics and materials as needed to keep production on track

- Coordinate with vendors and internal team members to confirm order details

- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and production timelines

Administrative & Organizational Support
- Maintain organized systems, files, and tracking documentation

- Communicate clearly and promptly with internal team members regarding order status

- Assist with general administrative projects as needed

- Identify inefficiencies in current tracking processes and suggest improvements

Process Improvement
- Help document and improve order and shipment tracking workflows

- Identify repetitive tasks that can be streamlined or better organized

- Support the production manager in maintaining consistent, dependable operations

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies
- Several years of professional work experience; this is not an entry-level role

- Working English communication skills (spoken and written); does not need to be advanced, as the role is non-client-facing

- Strong attention to detail and comfort tracking multiple moving orders/shipments at once

- Experience with administrative, logistics, or production-support work

- High level of reliability, ownership, and follow-through

- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- Strong organizational and time-management skills





Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in manufacturing, apparel/textile production, or custom goods production

- Background in logistics, shipment tracking, or supply chain administration

- Experience ordering materials or fabrics from vendors

- Familiarity with production tracking tools or systems

- Experience serving as a backup or right hand to an operations/production lead
