responsibilities

- creating new cad models of future products;
- analyzing and modifying cad models that yfss receives from customers, suppliers, or other internal sources;
- creating and modifying dwg files in the proper yfss- and customer templates, including creating and applying the proper gd&t; for the parts and assemblies;
- managing cad data releases in yf plm;
- communicating with internal yfitc and customer interfaces/ departments to transfer data.

qualifications

- 2-year associates degree in cad design or 4-year bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical or aerospace from an abet-accredited university or international equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in product design, preferably within the automotive tier 1 space.
- deep understanding in plastics, metal stampings and a-surface development.
- software experience: design software: catia, nx – expert. Plm software: teamcenter, enovia, sap, agile – functional working knowledge. Knowledge of design, product change and automotive standard and procedures (fmvss, euro, nom, asme, iso, cr-cn, etc)
