role summary

we are seeking a senior project manager to lead a large-scale sap implementation programme on-site in mexico. this is an 18-month, full-time opportunity starting in october . The successful candidate will be fluent in spanish (written and spoken) and have proven experience delivering complex sap projects—preferably sap s/4hana.

key responsibilities

- lead end‑to‑end delivery of the sap implementation programme, ensuring milestones, scope and quality are met.
- establish and maintain robust governance, planning and reporting frameworks across the programme.
- define and drive project controls, risk and issue management processes; escalate where appropriate.
- manage multidisciplinary internal teams and coordinate third‑party vendors and integrators.
- engage senior stakeholders and business sponsors; build trusted relationships and align expectations.
- oversee resource planning, budget tracking and delivery forecasts.
- ensure timely decision-making and remove delivery blockers in a fast-paced environment.




- facilitate key programme ceremonies (steering committees, readiness reviews, change control).

mandatory requirements

- fluent spanish (written and spoken).
- tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
- pmp/prince2 and sap s/4hana certification.
- proven track record as a senior project manager delivering large-scale programmes.
- mandatory sap implementation experience; experience on sap s/4hana strongly preferred.
- strong governance, planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- experience managing multidisciplinary teams and third‑party vendors.
- demonstrated ability to deliver complex projects in fast‑paced environments.
- availability to work on-site in mexico; start date: october.

desirable

- experience with general rollouts or multi-country sap deployments.
- pmo/tools experience (ms project, jira, confluence, sap activate, or equivalent).
- professional project management certification (pmp, prince2, or equivalent).
