we are looking for an experienced business development manager based in mexico city to lead our market expansion across mexico. This role focuses on b2b sales, dealer network development, and project-based furniture solutions. Candidates with a background in premium furniture brands such as steelcase or herman miller are highly preferred.

key responsibilities

· develop new business opportunities and project pipelines in mexico city and other major cities in mexico.

· establish, maintain, and empower local dealer/distributor networks to achieve sales targets.

· leverage existing designer relationships and industry connections to drive project specifications at the design and material selection stage.

· manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, solution presentation, negotiation to closing.

· monitor local market trends and competitor activities (e.g., steelcase, herman miller) and report insights to headquarters.

qualifications

required

· bachelor's degree or above.

· 5+ years of experience in b2b sales,



business development, or channel management.

· fluent spanish (written and spoken) – mandatory.

· strong understanding of mexican local business culture and practices.

· willingness to travel frequently within mexico.

preferred

· experience in the furniture, architecture, or building materials industry.

· previous experience with leading furniture brands such as steelcase, herman miller, knoll, haworth, or teknion.

· existing network of designers, architects, or construction professionals in mexico.

· experience working with chinese manufacturing companies.
