Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without sponsorship.What you will be doingAs a key part of the Manufacturing Process Engineering team, you'll create impact by Driving process excellence and product quality that directly supports Grundfos's mission to deliver world-class water technology solutions..Your main responsibilities include:Analyze, select, and optimize manufacturing methods, supporting equipment selection, purchase, and VPC execution for new equipment, products, and process changesExecute PPS and A3 continuous improvement projects with cross-functional teams to enhance key performance indicators such as FTT, Scrap, and OPRDefine and standardize manufacturing process parameters, maintaining Work Instructions,
Change of Model documentation, and other specificationsSelect tooling in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineers and plan operator/engineer training based on process requirements and Flexibility IndexEnsure compliance with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards, promoting a safe and healthy work environmentIdentify, report, and follow up on hazards, unsafe conditions, and near-miss incidents, ensuring proper PPE use and safe work practicesWhat makes you a great fitAbove all, you are a hands-on problem solver with a strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing, a passion for continuous improvement, and the creativity and initiative to drive process excellence in a dynamic production environment. We would also imagine that you have:Industrial Engineer, Mechanic, Electrician, Electronic, Mechatronic or Related degree2 - 3 years of experience as an Engineer in the IndustryAdvanced EnglishInterpretation of drawings and geometric tolerancesMathematical and numerical skillsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles with experience executing continuous improvement projects (PPS, A3, or similar methodologies)Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, MS Project)
with strong analytical and documentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a systemic approach to problem-solvingWillingness to work on the production floor with a sense of urgency and preventive mindsetIt is a plus if you also:Basic knowledge of manufacturing machinery such as plasma, CNC, and stator winding equipmentExperience with SAP R3 or similar ERP systemsValid passport and American visa with availability to travelWhy you will love working hereWe care!
