As an accountant analyst, you will actively participate in the recording of accounting operations that lead to the generation of accurate monthly financial statements in accordance with USGAAP and local regulations. This position requires attention to detail, assertive and effective communication with the Senior Accountant and the rest of the finance team. The position demands communication with internal clients and external members, in cases of audit, due diligence and others that require transparency of accounting information.

An organized and detail-oriented way of working is required as it provides critical support to ensure flawless compliance on all financial and tax issues in various jurisdictions.

Job Responsibilities:

Financial accounting

- Record all assigned business financial transactions in the ledgers in ERP system in local currency and USD.
- Perform and secure bank reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and record discrepancies in such a way that they match the bank statements of their respective accounts.
- Perform integrations of accounts receivable, payable, expenses and others that may be required, either by internal or external requests.
- Maintain alignment about generating financial information in compliance with fiscal and tax rules regarding their accounting records.
- All the activities according to the calendar and end of the month process.




- Making provisions for accounts payable and managing payments to insurance companies.
- Support in the delivery of tax receipts (CFDI)
- Managing all the supports of tax receipts (CDFI)

Accounts receivable

- Maintain up-to-date client files including monthly project billing packages.
- Informing customers of invoices issued.
- Generation and control of billing (CFDI) and payment receipts.

Taxes and payroll

- Involvement in certain analysis of payroll tax calculations
- Involvement in preparation of certain working papers for tax payment calculations (for VAT, Income Tax and Withholdings) as well as annual tax calculation

Projects

- This position will be in touch with the implementation of new systems as well as enhancing internal controls.

Requirements:

- Certified Public Accountant active in Mexico or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- 2 years of proven experience as an accounting analyst or in a similar position.
- Solid knowledge of Mexican accounting principles and tax regulations / electronic accounting.
- Excellent skills, attention to detail and teamwork.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English, both oral and written.
- Experience in Advertising, Entertainment or AdTech companies is a plus.
- Management of systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Contpaqi
- Technical mastery of Microsoft tools and Excel documents.
