A prestigious full-service law firm is seeking an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions Lawyer to join its Corporate and M& A practice in Mexico City.

This opportunity is adecuado for a highly motivated attorney with solid transactional experience who is looking to work on sophisticated domestic and cross-border transactions, advising national and international clients across a broad range of industries. Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, private equity investments, and other strategic transactions. Draft, review, negotiate, and manage transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, investment agreements, letters of intent, confidentiality agreements, and ancillary documentation. Lead and coordinate legal due diligence processes, identifying legal risks and developing practical solutions. Structure and execute complex corporate transactions from inception through closing. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including tax, finance, regulatory, and other practice areas.



Maintain direct communication with domestic and international clients, providing practical, business-oriented legal advice. Support business development initiatives and contribute to maintaining high standards of client service. Qualifications Law degree and admission to practice in Mexico. 4 to 9 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in M& A, Corporate, or Transactional Law at a recognized law firm. Strong experience handling domestic and cross-border M& A transactions. Proven ability to draft and negotiate sophisticated transaction documents. Solid understanding of corporate governance, commercial law, and complex corporate structures. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory. LL. M. or postgraduate degree is considered an advantage. Professional Competencies Strong commercial and business-oriented mindset.
