Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager based in Mexico City to lead our market expansion across Mexico. This role focuses on B2B sales, dealer network development, and project-based furniture solutions. Candidates with a background in premium furniture brands such as Steelcase or Herman Miller are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop new business opportunities and project pipelines in Mexico City and other major cities in Mexico.

· Establish, maintain, and empower local dealer/distributor networks to achieve sales targets.

· Leverage existing designer relationships and industry connections to drive project specifications at the design and material selection stage.

· Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, solution presentation, negotiation to closing.

· Monitor local market trends and competitor activities (e.g., Steelcase, Herman Miller) and report insights to headquarters.

Qualifications

Required

· Bachelor's degree or above.

· 5+ years of experience in B2B sales,



business development, or channel management.

· Fluent Spanish (written and spoken) – mandatory.

· Strong understanding of Mexican local business culture and practices.

· Willingness to travel frequently within Mexico.

Preferred

· Experience in the furniture, architecture, or building materials industry.

· Previous experience with leading furniture brands such as Steelcase, Herman Miller, Knoll, Haworth, or Teknion.

· Existing network of designers, architects, or construction professionals in Mexico.

· Experience working with Chinese manufacturing companies.
