We are an AS9100 certified QMS Machine and Fabrication job shop always working on something new. You’ll never get bored. We do aerospace tooling, rocket launch tooling, production, testing, prototype, and everything in-between if there is anything else… Two Shifts Available M-Th 1:00 pm to 11:30 am M-Fr 7 am to 3:30 pm (earlier start possible) Responsibilities Review planning/engineering, work instructions and tooling to verify appropriate work process and quality requirements before starting job.
Perform accurate and timely completion of all job order documentation and associated paperwork, part counts, tie-in information, etc.
Ability to operate machines with minimal direction.
Run multiple CNC mill and/or lathe machines
Work complex setups on 3, 4, 5 axis mills or multi-axis lathes
Work well with team members
Experience in use of precision hand tools.
Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
Perform other tasks as directed by Supervision/Management Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist
Knowledge of CNC equipment capability and daily maintenance.
Print reading skills including GD&T; per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents
Able to perform mid-level math skills efficiently and accurately
Knowledge of inspection equipment such as; calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges
Familiar with use of personal computers.
Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
Desired
Fanuc, DMG and Haas controls
Multi-axis lathe and mill experience preferred.
Machining of nickel-based stainless steel alloys, copper, titanium preferred.
Excellent work ethic.
Excellent attention to detail.
Eager to learn.
Ability to adapt to change (positive or negative).
Ability to accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with stressful situations
Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts
Experience machining aerospace components
Experience programming in Mastercam Wages: $26-32 per hour, however, we’ll pay commensurate to your output. So if you believe you pump out parts, and can do that here, we’ll pay you for it.
