Consequently, promoting our Alteration savoir-faire.Job mission:In constant dialogue with theFittingTailor/ Alteration Lead, the Tailorworks independently on complex tailored or simplefloupieces.Withguidance from the Alteration Lead or the FittingTailor, he/sheis responsible forproducing high quality, CHANEL-standard alterations within establishedtimeframe,in order toprovide the ultimate CHANEL service experience.Key Responsibilities:Technical missions:UNDERSTANDING& INTERPRETING THE LANGUAGE OF THE PINSKnows how to understand and interpret thealterationwork to be carried out when the piece is received.Knows the fundamentals of Chanel Alteration and the original allure / silhouette of the piece to alterUNDERSTANDING OF THE CREATIVE INTENT IN THE GARMENTEnsures that the alterations will be made without ever distorting creative biasALTERATION & REPAIR OF COMPLEXTAILORED OR FLOUPIECESKnowshow to carry out alterations on complex top and bottom pieces in order to provide a careful, precise and invisible work.Alters clothing according to customers' specifications and fit, and applies principles of garmentdesign, construction,andstyling:Carefully readsthe alteration form (technical information and clients' information) and / or receives an oral brief from the FittingTailor/ Alteration LeadChecks the pinning on the garment **** Organizes own alteration work according to the technical information, the placement of thepinsand the construction of the garment.
**** Dismantles, performsalterations, assembles the garment and finish **** Tries the piece on a mannequin to ensure the fit of the garment **** Inspects finishes (buttons, pulled threads, trims, lockstitches, label, wrap...) and corrects them if neededRepairs or replaces defective garment parts such as pockets, zippers, snaps, buttons, cufflinksand liningsFITTINGSAssiststhe fitting tailor during fittings with clients based on case by caseMay be requested to conduct a fitting with clients in the absence of the fitting tailorOrganizations missions:WORKSHOP PERFORMANCEPerforms alteration within lead timeComplies with paperwork (e.G.Alteration form), procedures, schedule,
