Purpose Statement: The Continuous Improvement Technician Sr, reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager (or assigned by the CI MGR) is responsible to support in the factory all continuous improvement projects such as: Create layouts, physical movements, take standard times, Capacity Analysis, process balance chart, management all current movements, participation in all continuous improvement initiatives and kaizen events - this is a practical Gemba role.Key Job AccountabilitiesPROCESS OPTIMIZATION: Assist the CI Engineers in general projects and experiments that reduce costs and improve the manufacturing flow of products.
Provide leadership to CI Technician I II roles.Able to work cooperatively in a team & cross functional team(s) as needed Able to maintain a level temperament in a stressful environment Openly and proactively shares information, knowledge & experience with co-workers Willing to take on additional assignmentsPROCESS OPTIMIZATION: Perform time studies, cap model as needed to demonstrate the expected output for an operation, for cost recovery systems, and for factory layouts.
