VOLCANIX AUTOMATION is building a multidisciplinary Controls & Robotics team to support a large-scale advanced energy manufacturing facility in the Northeastern United States. We are hiring multiple engineers and programmers across several experience levels, from Intermediate Engineers to Technical Leads.

This is a hands-on engineering opportunity involving industrial controls, SCADA development, PLC programming, robotics integration, commissioning, and production support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, commission, and troubleshoot industrial control systems and automated equipment.
- Program and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs using Studio 5000.
- Develop, configure, and maintain Ignition or factory talk view Platform SCADA applications
- Integrate robots with PLC-controlled equipment, industrial networks, vision systems, and safety devices.
- Optimize robot paths, cycle times, and process performance to meet production goals.
- Perform system testing, validation, customer run-offs, and production handoffs.
- Troubleshoot controls, robotics, electrical, communication, and automation issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, mechanical engineers,



production personnel, and customer teams.
- Maintain technical documentation while following customer engineering standards.

Experience Levels

Intermediate Engineer / Programmer

- 1+ years of experience in industrial automation.
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal)
- Working experience with Ignition Platform (SCADA)
- Familiarity with industrial networks (Profinet, EtherNet/IP)
- Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities
- Strong troubleshooting skills in manufacturing environment
- Experience with vision systems, motion control, safety systems, or error-proofing is preferred

Qualifications
- Engineering or Technical Degree required
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working on-site in fast-paced manufacturing environments
- Self-motivated with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

Work Authorization
- MUST HOLD US Valid PASSPORT

Additional Information Compensation is based on experience, technical expertise starting from 25 USD per hour
- Travel and work-related expenses are covered by the company
- Work Location is On-site
