Process Engineer – Plastic Injection MoldingSan Luis Potosí, MexicoAutomotive IndustryAbout the PositionBoge Rubber Mexico is seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer – Plastic Injection Molding to optimize manufacturing processes, ensure process stability, and guarantee compliance with quality, productivity, and safety standards required by the organization and our automotive customers.Key Responsibilities- Establish and validate process parameters to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Analyze and troubleshoot molding defects, cycle time issues, and material waste.
- Coordinate mold trials, pilot runs, and process validations.
- Participate in project transfers and new product launches.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, parameter sheets, and operating standards.
- Collaborate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Tooling departments to ensure operational stability.
- Apply problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why Analysis, Ishikawa, and PFMEA.
- Provide technical support and training to production personnel on injection molding processes.Education- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering,



or a related field.Experience- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in plastic injection molding processes within the automotive industry.
- Experience in cycle time optimization, scrap reduction, and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with engineering thermoplastics such as PP, ABS, PA, PBT, PC, TPU, and TPE.Technical Knowledge- Plastic injection molding processes.
- Process parameter setup and optimization.
- Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation.
- Operation of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Experience with Core Tools and automotive quality systems.
- Desired: Experience programming and troubleshooting End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) and automation devices.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (preferred).
