**Job Title**:
**Facilities Engineer**
**Position Summary**
This person is responsible for understanding the infrastructure necessary to maintain the building, equipment, product and personnel, with regard to HVAC, humidity control, fire/sprinklers, power, plumbing, and gas. They will be responsible for validating, maintaining, troubleshooting and first level repairs of these systems installed.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the installation of HVAC systems at the facility and their maintenance and use;
- Responsible for HVAC site technical changes and communication with vendors;
- Work site work coordination;
- HVAC System Verification and Validation Program, (DQ, IQ, OQ) for installed and implemented equipment;
- HVAC SOP document writing/training;
**Education and/or Experience**




- Engineering Education, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar certification in relative field (e.g. Facilities or Maintenance, Electrician, etc.)
- 5 or more years of related experience in manufacturing plant (medical device manufacturing plant preferred)
**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- Knowledge of code for installation/requirements for Tijuana manufacturing facility;
- Proficient in mechanical and electrical engineering with regard to HVAC, humidity control, fire/sprinklers, power, plumbing installations, and compressed air;
- Proficient in office CAD software.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
