**Job description**
We are seeking a Junior Cost Controller to undertake all financial management matters, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, preparation of budgets and forecasts, and development of internal control policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
- Coordinating and guiding budget and financial forecast preparation and reporting discrepancies
- Timely preparation and publication of monthly financial statements
- Coordination of preparation of regulatory reports
- Investigation of technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support monthly and yearly closings
- Ensuring the quality control of financial transactions and financial information
- Manage and comply with local, state and federal reporting and tax return filings




- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Additional CPA duties as needed
**Requirements**:
- 1-3 years of combined accounting and finance experience
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience in creating financial statements
- Experience in general ledger functions and month / year end closing process
- Excellent use of accounting software and management skills
- Experience in MS Office
- Very good command of the English language (verbal & written). Extra languages advantageous.
