The Product Development Engineer role is to support Automotive T-1 team in Puebla in the development of interior products for T-1.
The main responsabilities are:
- Manage the Bill Of Material for product scope (eBOM) in TIGER, to include Engineering Change Management and maintain product and process definition under supervision of the PDL (Program Development Leader)
- Analyse Customer product specifications and applicable regulations / legislations for his permiter
- Manage, prepare, and update program related technical documentations: Ensure Geometry convergence plan & product quality are met according to customer requirements.
- Manage Bought Out Parts (BOP) definition and ensure technical integration of suppliers, coordinate technical management of tool suppliers relying on process/tool engineers and experts.
- Lead the product validations for his perimeter,



Define and implement the product improvements required to meet the specifications in line with the validation convergence process.
- Lead and control the different build of Product for customer deliveries
- Liaise with industrial engineer so that product and process characteristics are under control when production is launched.
- Work in a team of process engineer(s) and non-engineers to ensure correct communication of any status regarding the product & process.
- Travel to support the launch of production in the plant
The job is might be for you if you have the following skills:
- Bachelor of engineering in Industrial, Mechatronic or Mechnical discipline
- Great proactiviy, rigourous and strong communication skills
- Analitical
- Experience with interior product development or plastic injection
- 1 to 3 years experience
